JAMMU, July 1: Opening ceremony of “1st J&K T20 Championship 2013” was held at MA Stadium, here yesterday evening.
Minister for Housing, Culture and Horticulture, Raman Bhalla was the chief guest and MLC Javid Ahmed Rana was the guest of honor.
After the official announcement of the opening of the championship, Raman Bhalla while addressing said that he was glad to see the event which helps youth to develop their skills.
He assured the organizers that he will cooperate in every way to UCFI for the promotion and development of the game in the State.
Javid Rana also spoke on the occasion.
Meanwhile, cultural items were presented by Unique Dance Group, Korn Street Kings and Marityu Dand Band on the ocasion.
On this occasion, UCFI organized an exhibition match between Jammu province and Kashmir province teams while was won by latter in a close contest.
