SBI donates ambulance to Shirya Bhatt Hospital

SBI Management handing over ambulance to Shriya Bhatt Mission Hospital at Durga Nagar.

JAMMU, July 2 : Under Corporate Social Responsibility  the State Bank of India CRPF Bantalab Branch donated an ambulance (TATA winger) to Shirya Bhatt Mission Hospital and Research Centre, Durga Nagar, Jammu.
On the occasion of Bank Day, the ambulance was handed over to Dr. K.L.Chowdhury Chairman of the Hospital Trust by Ajit Kumar Jain Dy. General Manager, J&K Zone in an impressive function held here in Jammu.
Dr. K.L.Chowdhury in his address thanked the SBI authorities with special mention to N.K.Chari Chief General Manager, Chandigarh, A.K. Jain Deputy General Manager, P.K. Abrol Regional Manager & other officials present for selecting  Shirya Bhatt Mission Hospital for this noble gesture. He assured that the ambulance will be made available to all the needy patients for ferrying them on no profit no loss.
In his address A.K.Jain said that every year State Bank of India is providing help to different school & Colleges, various social organisations and NGOs for their social needs. He appreciated the role of the Mission Hospital and informed that the Bank will be always there to help such institutions, who are working for the weaker sections & for up-liftment of the society.
P.K.Abrol, Regional Manager,  Region II   also presented the brief working profile of the SBI as far as its social responsibility and charity work is concerned.
