JAMMU, July 3: Hindustan Shiv Sena (HSS) today held a protest demonstration against the steep increase in the prices of essential commodities at Bhagwati Nagar.
The activists of HSS led by national president Dimpy Kohli raised slogans against the UPA Government for its failure to bring down the rising prices of the essential commodities.

HSS leaders said that Central Government has totally failed to control prices of all essential commodities which have risen to unbearable height.
State and Central Governments should take immediate action against the black marketers and hoarders of food grains and other commodities, they added.
They asked the Central Government to take immediate steps to stop rising inflation as early as possible.
The rising prices of the petrol and diesel would impact the cost of essential commodities further and in turn affect the common man, they added.
They demanded immediate roll back of the petrol and diesel prices to avoid unnecessary burden upon the public at large.
Among others present were Shiv Kumar Sharma, Satish Sahni, Kulbeer Singh Chib, K Shivani Rao, etc.
