JKPYC organises Volleyball match

JAMMU, Aug 26: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) organised a Volleyball tournament to remember former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi under the banner ‘Hum Mein Hai Rajiv’, here today.
The sports event was organized by Brinder Pratap Singh, secretary and Nimrandeep Singh Bhullar, general secretary JKPYC J&K unit.
In the final match, Samba Warriors emerged winner of the tournament by defeating Bishnah team.
Bhullar said that the aim of the tournament to propagate the thoughts and innovative initiative of the architect of modern India Bharat Ratana, Rajiv Gandhi amongst the youth, farmers, women and labourer. “It is the need of the hour that we inculcate Rajiv’s teachings on social equality inclusive development and global peace,” he said.
He appreciated the efforts of Brinder Pratap Singh for organising Volleyball match in which teams from border belt took part.
Brinder Pratap Singh said that Government must have to address the issues of these upcoming sportspersons and criticised the incumbent Government for ignoring youth on all fronts.
Satpal Sharma, Rajan Khajuria, Jyoti Sharma, Vikas Sambyal, Bhanu Pratap, Sunil Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Munish Kumar and Aryan were present during the event.
