JAMMU, July 4: In an application filed by International Cricket Club, High Court today issued notice to Chief Secretary, JKCA through general secretary, Dr Farooq Abdullah, president JKCA, Mohd Aslam Goni, Salim Khan, Ahsan Mirza, Director General Youth Services and Sports and BCCI returnable within two weeks.
In the petition, it has been submitted that during the pendency of the petition Honorary Treasure of JKCA issued notice on June 22, 2013 convening the meeting of Working Committee of Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association to be held on July 6, 2013.
While staying the notice, Justice AM Magrey observed, “perusal of previous judgment reveals that notice issued by Honorary Treasurer is without jurisdiction”.
