Syed Tajuddin FC beats Hamdaniya FC by 3-1 goals

SRINAGAR, Aug 27: Syed Tajuddin FC trounced Hamdaniya FC by three goals to one (3-1), whereas match between Kashmir United FC and Galaxy FC ended with 1:1 draw in the ongoing DFA Annual Football League-2021, being organised at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground, here today.
The 1st match was played between Kashmir United FC and Galaxy FC. Both the Clubs started their game with an aggressive note and tried hard to create gaps for net. In the 24th minute Galaxy FC was awarded a penalty kick for an offense inside the penalty area and Syed Fakhar made no mistake in converting the penalty into a goal. Kashmir United FC although made certain good moves at their opponent goal but could not succeed.
In the 2nd half, Kashmir United FC left no stone unturned to go for an equaliser but their efforts bore fruits when Firdous Ahmad succeeded in equalizing a goal in 48th minute. Thus match ended with 1:1 draw.
The 2nd match was played between Syed Tajudin FC and Hamdaniya FC. Both the teams played quality game and missed some good chances. Their efforts were applauded by the spectators over perfect ball control and man to man marking. In the 15th minute of the 1st half, Firdous of Hamdaniya FC scored a magnificent goal which took every body by surprise. At half time Hamdaniya FC was leading by one Goal.
The 2nd half started with an aggressive note and Syed Tajudin FC tried hard to find an equalizer and succeeded in 44th minute through Harish, followed by both the teams geared up and tried hard to take the lead but it was Syed Tajuddin FC who scored back to back two goals in 60th & 61st minutes through Lucky, thus Syed Tajuddin FC maintained 3:1 goals lead till the final whistle.
The tournament is being organized by J&K Football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
