AIMCCC holds workshop, projects demands

JAMMU, Aug 29: All India Migrants Camps Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) organised one day workshop here, in which around sixty leaders and activists took part.
The workshop was inaugurated by AIMCCC Chief Desh Ratten Pandita.
The speakers during the workshop stressed upon AIMCCC leaders and activists to work for poor, needy, migrants and refugee people.
While speaking, Pandita informed that AIMCCC leaders and activists are always on fore front to help the needy people of the society. He said that AIMCCC is a socio-political organisation and the time has come to make it a political party.
“We can take part in elections of our own as we are better dedicated and honest than any other political parties”, said Daljeet Singh, Priya Dhar, Anjli Tickoo and PN Jalali while addressing the participants of the workshop.
The speakers during the workshop demanded enhancement in cash relief upto Rs 24,000 per month per family, job to one member of a family, release of pending ex-gratia, removal of encroachment of KPs land in Valley, political empowerment to KPs, installation of four bore-wells in Jagti township, complete audit of funds deposited by the people for the booking of community halls at Jagti Township and other campuses, declare KPs as internally displaced persons, etc.
UT Secretary of AIMCCC Shadi Lal Bhat demanded full support so as to make KPs strong.
Among others present were District President Mahila Wing Meenu Misri, Coordination Satish, Advisor ML Bhoni, Jawahar Lal Raina, General Secretary MM Kanth, Papu Ji Bhat, Basant Raina, etc.
