DODA, Aug 30: After a gap of 16 years finally macadamization on much awaited Sanai-Dugli Road started today on the eve Janamashtami.
DDC Councillor Bhaderwah West Thakur Yudhvir Singh formally kick-started the blacktopping work of the Road. He was accompanied by Satpal Manhas co-incharge department of political programmes and meetings, J&K BJP and retired chief engineer PMGSY, Sarpanch Southa Kirna Devi, Sarpanch Khelani Kashi Nath, Sarpanch Dugli-B Ramesh Kumar, BJYM general secretary Doda Sandeep Manhas, Sanjay Chouhan general secretary Bhalla Mandal and others.
While inaugurating the blacktopping work of the Road, Thakur Yudhvir said that this road is connecting more than 15000 people and due to bad condition of the Road people were suffering. This was one of the burning issues and in near future we are going to solve all the genuine issues related to public interest, he added.
Satpal Manhas said that during Government service, he tried his level best and sometimes out of way and now the result is before the public of the area. “I am happy that I performed my duties honestly and now my home road is also on the track of good development. I am now a worker of this great party BJP and I am sure that more development is coming in near future,” he added.
