JAMMU, Aug 31: The Department of Youth Services and Sports conducted Inter-Zonal level trials of various games of Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Cricket, Football, Badminton, Chess, Carrom and Tug-of-War under 14 years (boys/girls), here today.
The trials were conducted at various locations including Government Boys High School Jammu Cantonment, Government Model Middle School Satwari and Government Middle School Brij Nagar under the supervision of ZPEO Satwari Satwinder Kour, Veena Rani Headmaster GHS Jammu Cantonment and ZEPO Miran Sahib Rakesh Kakar respectively.
About 48 students were drawn from different institutions of Zone Miran Sahib from today’s event for the next level of the tournament.
Meanwhile, Inter-Zone competition of Chess and Carrom under-14 boys and girls categories were conducted at Kishtwar.
