SRINAGAR, Sept 1: Senior Political leader and contesting candidate from Shangus Assembly constituency, Mohammad Syed Khan (Adv) joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) along with his supporters today.
Khan was welcomed into the party fold by the party president, Mehbooba Mufti, Party chief spokesperson Suhail Bukhari and senior party leader and former MLA, Aijaz Ahmad Mir.
PDP president expressed hope that with his joining the party would be strengthened at the grassroots.
On the occasion, Khan said that leadership and ideology of PDP inspired him to be part of the party that is representing the aspirations and sentiments of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
