RAMBAN, Sept 4: A minor girl was crushed to death by a Tata Sumo in Chaba area on Neera-Ganote road, police sources said.

The deceased was identified as Suman (7), daughter of Rangit Singh, a resident of Chaba Demote, Ramban District.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased along with locals held protest and demanded arrest of the accused driver. They also pelted stones and damaged the window panes of the vehicles involved in action.
