LEH, Sept 6: Anjuman Imamia Leh has re-elected Ashraf Ali Barcha as its president.
The election for the religious body was held on Sunday. Around 95 % members cast their vote and re-elected Ashraf Ali Barcha as president of the Anjuman Imamia Leh for a term of 4 years.
Speaking to the media persons after his re-election to the post of president, Barcha said that the Anjuman Imamia Leh under his leadership will work for maintaining communal harmony and make the Leh district an ideal district to live in where people of all religions can live together peacefully.
