Children, youth shine in Youth Games of India

JAMMU, Sept 8: J&K youth and children excelled in the Youth Games of India competition-2021 by winning various medals, organised by Sports and Cultural Federation of India at Chitrakoot Stadium Jaipur from September 4 to 6.
About 60 children and youth from various districts of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory participated in various disciplines including Volleyball, Kabaddi, Cricket, Wrestling and even Athletic competitions and brought laurels to the UT.
The participants succeeded to win Gold medal in discipline of Volleyball, Sliver in Under -14, Gold in Under-17 and Bronze in Under-19 category, whereas in Kabaddi disciplines, they were also succeeded to win Under-17 Gold, Silver medal in Under-19 and Gold medal in Under-19 Cricket, besides the participants also remained first in Athletes and Wrestling competitions.
The participants were accompanied by Sweety Jyotshi, J&K unit secretary of Youth Federation; Sanjay Kumar, coordinator of District Udhampur and Shafiq Khan, coordinator of District Poonch.
