JAMMU, Sept 9: Jammu and Kashmir’s Kudo team excelled in 11th Kodo National Championship by winning four Gold and Silver medals, organised by Kudo Federation of India at Solan in Himachal Pradesh from September 2 to 5.
The players who brought laurels to J&K Union Territory by winning medals in said championship were Abu Affan, Saqib Javid, Sohaib Shabir and Nadeem Altaf won each Gold medal in different weight categories, while Athar Farooq, Mohammad Imran Wani, Sarmad Hafeez Shah and Shubam Singh clinched each Silver medal in their respective weight categories.
The team was headed by Faisal Nazir, president of J&K Kudo Association.
