DODA, July 8, 2013: The NCC Cadets of Government Degree College (GDC) Doda including 16 SD (Boys) and 8 SW (Girls) of 2 J&K (I) coy Bhaderwah brought laurels to the State while representing Jammu and Kashmir Directorate in National Integration Camp (NIC) at New Delhi.
The Camp was organized by NCC Delhi Directorate under the Minister of Defence at Camping Ground Delhi Cantonment, New Delhi.
The Camp was presided over by Brig N Jamwal Group Commander NCC Delhi Group-B and the camp was going under the command of Col Bhupinder Singh (Shaurya Chakra). He was accompanied by Lt Col Vishest.
In this National Integration Camp all the 18 Directorates of all the 28 States participated and showed their talent in different competitions held there.
In these Competitions J&K Directorate bagged 1st prize in singing Competition, the song was presented by Jugnu Bhagat and also 1st prize in Debate competition which was presented by Vaneet Rakwal, while the State remained runner up in National Integration Awareness Programme (NIAP) and Volley ball Tournament.
Also Cadet Mukesh Parihar (SUO) was honored with Master of Ceremony Award.
These cadets were trained by Prof (Captain) Babu Ram Rakwal and in the camp they were guided by Capt Rajinder Singh of 2 J&K (I) Coy NCC Bhaderwah who was along these cadets to Delhi.
The students who participated includes Sanjeev Sharma, Mukesh Parihar, Ameet Kumar, Mohd, Vaneet Rakwal, Jugnu Bhagat, Ravinder Singh, Sunny Singh, Vikas Rakwal, Vinod Kumar, Manish Dogra, Ankul Jain, Manish Singh, Dev Raj, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Singh, Pooja Thakur, Radha Devi,
Anjana Devi, Pooja Sharma, Pumee Devi, Manju Rakwal, Meenakshi Devi and Madhu Bala.
