SRINAGAR, Sept 22: Srinagar District Table Tennis Championship, organised by District Table Tennis Association under the aegis of J&K Table Tennis Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council, concluded at Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute, here today.
Around 90 players including boys and girls from different parts of the district participated in various categories. In senior men’s final Mehboob Khan defeated Qazi Inaam by 4-2 sets, whereas in junior’s boys Sadiq defeated Ibrahim by 3-1 sets and in sub-junior boys category, Eesa Asif trounced Musa Asif by 3-0 sets, besides in senior women’s category Inam got better of Mehr by 3-0 sets, whereas in junior girls category, Inam defeated Zoobiya Tariq by 3-0 sets and in sub-junior girls Zoobiya Tariq beat Umehani by 3-1 sets.
Irshad Hussain Rather, Superintendent of Police Hazratbal was chief guest while chairman Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute, Tariq Ahmed Baktoo and Tahir Rashid Kazli were guests of the event.
