JAMMU, Sept 23: Government PG College for Women Gandhi Nagar organised an online inter-college essay writing competition on the topic, ‘Relevance of Hindi in present times’.
The event was organised by the Department of Hindi wherein 35 students of constituent colleges of Cluster University of Jammu participated whereas the event was organised under the guidance of College Principal, Dr Sangita Nagari.
Vishali Kumari bagged 1st position while Arti Charak got 2nd position and 3rd position was clinched by Shilpa Devi besides, Waheeda Rehman and Harmeet Kour shared consolation prize.
The meritorious certificates shall be distributed among the winners. Prof Urmila Rani of GDC Akhnoor, Dr Bindu Chib of GDC Poonch and Dr Vijender Kumar, GCW Gandhi Nagar were the jury members of the event.
The event was managed by Prof Poonam under the supervision of Dr Maharaj Krishan Mussa, HoD Hindi.
