Cricket U/17 IZDL trials conclude

JAMMU, Oct 13: Jammu zone drubbed Bishnah by 8 wickets in finals of the Under-17 Inter-Zonal District Level (IZDL) Cricket tournament, being organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports at Khel Gaon Nagrota, near here today.
Meanwhile, the competitions in the discipline of Wushu Boys under-17 and under-19 boys got underway at the same venue.
In Wushu boys under-17 boys, Vidant, Deepak, Atish Sharma, Abhimanyu and Om Balouria stood first in weight categories 40kg, 45kg, 48kg, 52kg and 56 kg respectively, whereas in weight 60kg, 65kg, 70kg and 80kg, Sparsh, Druv, Harishit and Partap remained 1st in the same category.
In Wushu boys under-19, Bikram, Karun, Naresh Kumar, Zakir Husain, Divyanshu and Aryan stood 1st in 45kg, 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 65kg, and 70kg respectively.
In Cricket under-17 boys’ first semi-final, Bishnah beat Satwari in a super over, while Jammu trounced Dansal by 7 wickets in 2nd semi-finals match.
