SRINAGAR, Oct 14: Sopore Volleyball Championship, organized by JK Hussaini Sports Club (Sopore Unit), concluded here at Khushall Stadium Sopore in which 8 teams participated.
Game Challengers Sopore lifted the championship by defeating Warriors Sports Club Sopore by 2-0.
SDPO Sopore, Furkan Qadri was the chief guest, while as DySP DAR Abid Rashid Mir, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat (prominent businessman Sopore), Ayaz Ahmad CEO Accurate Group Parray Pora, Ahsan Ali (General secretary JKHSC) and Aqib Hussain (Senior member JKHSC) were the guests of honours.
The chief guest gave away prizes to winners and runner up teams and appreciated the organisers for organising such an event in Sopore.
The tournament was organised by JK Hussaini Sports Club under the dynamic leadership of Ulfat Mushtaq and was sponsored by Accurate Group, Fokus Education Services Baghat and Star Tech Sopore.
Secretary (JKHSC) Ahsan Ali Beigh presented a vote of thanks to guests, organisers, officials and sponsors.
