DySP dedicates 100kms runs to martyrs

JAMMU, Oct 22: DySP GRP Jammu Naresh Sharma- an ultrarunner and a heritage runner has dedicated his 100 kilometres Heritage Run Challenge for the month of October-21 to martyrs of J&K Police, who sacrificed their lives for the protection of Nation, here today.
In the last leg of his 100 kms Heritage Run Challenge, he started his run from his residence at Gandhi Nagar to Police Martyrs Memorial Rail Head after passing through Asia Crossing (District Police Lines Jammu) and Police Headquarters Chowk. At DPL Jammu and Police Martyrs Memorial, he interacted with Police constables and expressed his solidarity and fellow feeling with them.
The DySP competed 19 Heritage Runs so far, besides several half marathons/runs including the National Flag Run Challenge on the eve of Republic Day-2021, he ran 75 kms by holding National Flag in his hand and 23kms Legend of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Run with National flag again on the eve of Supreme Sacrifice Day of Legend Bhagat Singh on March 21 2021 at National Martyrs Memorial Hussainiwala Ferozpur.
