Apni Party expresses concern over growing unemployment

JAMMU, Oct 23: Apni Party Youth Wing has expressed concern over the growing unemployment in J&K.
Addressing a press conference here today, State vice president of Apni Party, Raqeeq Ahmed Khan said, the situation is alarming in this regard.
He referred to the advertisement for the post of Sub Inspectors in J&K Police for which minimum age was fixed at 18 years and upper age at 28 years and termed it gross injustice.
Khan said the Government should reconsider and revise minimum age limit as well as the upper age limit fixed for the post of Sub Inspectors.
He alleged that in industrial sector non-locals are being employed in violation of memorandum of understanding signed by industries with J&K Government.
“There are 93,456 vacant non-gazetted posts and 27,242 gazetted posts in different Government departments which should be filled up on fast-track basis,” he demanded adding that out of 8574 advertised class IV posts results of 3045 was not declared.
State general secretaries Youth Wing, Abhay Bakaya and Tufail Choudhary; provincial president Jammu Youth Wing, Vipul Bali and others were also present on the occasion.
