SRINAGAR, Oct 28: JKSPDC XI trounced Sports Council Football Academy (SCFA) by 4 goals to 1 and Kashmir Avenger FC defeated Food & Supplies XI (F&S XI) by 5 goals to nil in the ongoing Khyber Milk Premier Football League 2021, being played at Synthetic Turf TRC, here today.
The 1st match was played between J&K SPDC XI and Sports Council Football Academy (SCFA). As the match started, both the teams attacked each others’ goalpost frequently, but the defence lines withheld the pressure and didn’t allow any goals to be scored. In the 26th minute Parvez of SCFA scored a goal for his team.
In the 2nd half, SPDC XI kept their morale high and started attacking the SCFA goalpost. Hyder Yousuf opened the account for the SPDC in the 46th minute of the match and just three minutes later doubled the lead. Mehran made another goal for JKSPDC in the 50th minute of the match while Hyder scored his hatric and team’s fourth goal in the 67th minute. The SCFA’s players tried their best to score but couldn’t penetrate in the defence lines of the opponents. Thus, the match ended with 4-1 goals in favour of J&K SPDC XI.
The 2nd match was played between Kashmir Avenger FC and Food & Supplies XI wherein Kashmir Avenger FC dominated the match right from the start of the play. Moses, Aanis, Farhan Pathan, Shariq and Ishfaq Ahmad scored one goal each for the winning team and won the match by 5 goals to nil.
The tournament is being organized by J&K Football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
