JAMMU, Oct 30: Former MLC and J&K BJP secretary, Ch. Vikram Randhawa here today started blacktopping work of internal roads at Vishal Colony in Babliana.
The work will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 16 lakh by Public Works Department.
Speaking on the occasion Randhawa claimed that BJP is committed to move ahead with the slogan ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas’ given by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
“We are committed to ensure that development reaches every nook and corner without any discrimination,” he further said adding that the blacktopping work was a long pending demand of the people of the colony which now stands fulfilled.
He said that roads in the newly created colonies of Gandhi Nagar Assembly Constituency would be blacktopped as road connectivity is the key ingredient of development.
The BJP leader urged upon the people to take maximum benefit of people friendly welfare schemes launched by the Government of India.
Others who were present on the occasion were Bharat Bhushan, Mandal President; Vijay Sharma, Parshotam Chalotra, Ramneek Singh, Varun Verma and others.
