JAMMU, Oct 31: Bhargav Legends trounced Veteran Legends by 5 goals to 2 in the 2nd Master Harbans Singh Memorial Hockey Tournament, played at Bhargav Public HSS Gadi Garh, here today.
Sarabjeet Singh of Bhargav Legends scored three goals, while Jasvinder Singh and Kuldeep Singh (captain) clinched one goal each for the winning team and for Veteran Legends, Rakesh and Parveen Singh netted one goal each.
Rajinder Singh Tara, DySP Manjeet Singh, Inspector Gurmeet Singh and Ashok Khajuria were among the dignitaries of the event.
The match was officiated by Janak Singh and Jasvinder Singh. The tournament is being sponsored by Ranbir Singh Nikka in the memory of his father late Harbans Singh.
