Sunberbani Club registers win over Singh Cricket Club by 1 run

JAMMU, Nov 5: Sunderbani Cricket Club registered win over Singh Cricket Club by 1 run and won the Diwali Cup 30-30 overs match, which was played by Country Cricket Stadium Gharota, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Sunderbani U-14 Cricket Club scored 144 runs by losing 9 wickets in 30 overs. Naman scored 20 runs, Vinayak made 17 runs, Piyush and Krishna scored 11 runs each and Danish scored 10 runs.
From Singh Cricket Club U-14, Ritish scalped 3 wickets, while Surya Dev Singh clinched 2 wickets. Arun and Raghav took one wicket each.
In reply, Singh Cricket Club U-14 scored 143 runs by losing all the wickets in 29.5 overs. Akash Singh scored 28 runs, Arun Kumar made 18 runs, Vikas Sharma scored 16 runs, Aryan Sharma made 13 and Kanhaiya Verma chipped in 9 runs.
From Sunderbani Club side, Shivam clinched 3 wickets, while Piyush and Rahul shared 2 wickets each. Pranav and Ajitesh took one wicket apiece.
Shivam Sharma was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Nikhil Jamwal and Arjun Kumar as umpires, while Dev Bhagel maintained the scoreboard.
This match was organized by Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor under the overall supervision of Sham Singh Langeh President Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor to promote Cricket in Akhnoor sub-district and adjoining areas.
Earlier, Vikrant Sharma MD Country Cricket Stadium Gharota inaugurated the match.
