SRINAGAR, Nov 6: 11th District Wushu Championship Bandipora-2021 was inaugurated by Colonel 14 RR, Ajay Rawat in presence of Gh Hassan president Football Association Bandipora and Jamsheed Ahmed Bhat president Table Tennis Association, here today.
The championship was organised by District Wushu Association Bandipora under the guidelines of Wushu Association of J&K wherein around 170 Wushu players of all age categories of boys and girls participated in the event.
Col Rawat appreciated the efforts of the Association for organising the District Championship and for making the Wushu game popular in every part of J&K. He also promised to organizers for any kind of possible support to promote the sports in the district in future.
It is pertinent to mention here that the District Kupwara Wushu Championship was also organised by District Kupwara Wushu Association from November 1 to 2 at Boys Higher Secondary School Kupwara in which more than 160 players from different Clubs participated.
