JAMMU, Nov 6: J&K Judo member’s team including 34 Judokas, four coaches and two officials today left for participation in Sub Junior/Cadet National Judo Championship which is scheduled to be held at Kharar Punjab soon.
About 34 Judokas were selected after selection trials which were conducted by the Judo Association of Jammu and Kashmir and screened by Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, Ashok Singh along with officials of J&K Sports Council including Mohit Oberai and Joginder.
Team: Adnan Fayaz, Eshann Saini, Akshay Sharma, Vishwas, Arnav Gupta, Rajat Singh Chib, Abhaymaan Singh, Tanush Sharma, Adadhya, Mamta Malik, Syed Azan Manzoor, Harshita Singh, Akariti Chandan, Maithili Kotwal, Nirali Sharma, Suhani Kiran, Akshara Sharma, Jogita Bhagat, Smeena Akhter, Ishita Mahajan Adn Arshad, Meenakshi Bhagat, Nandini Chib, Hidaya Shahid Nirjala Kumari, Amrit Gupta, Vansh Singh, Ashfaq Ali, Hitesh Kumar Chibber, Danish Sajad, Riyan Yousuf, Mangeet Singh, Mohd Numan and Vipul Yashovardhan.
Suraj Bhan Singh, Arshinad, Ritika Slathia & Jugal Kishore were among coaches and Danish Sharma & Manish Chatwal were the officials who were part of the 40 members team.
