JAMMU, Nov 8: J&K UT level Wrestling team has been selected for participation in upcoming Senior Men & Women Wrestling Championship-2021 which is scheduled to be held at Nandi Nagar Gonda (Uttar Pradesh) from November 11 to 13.
The team has been selected after the screening which was conducted by screening committee of J&K Sports Council under the overall supervision of Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu in the presence of Satish Gupta, Manager J&K Sports Council, Dheeraj Sharma, Jai Bharat, Om Parkash senior wrestling coach J&K Police, Sahil Sharma, International wrestling coach and Ravinder Kumar.
Team: Ajit Malhotra, Rohit Singh, Arif Khan, Saleem, Ashiq Hussain, Muneer Ahmed, Arshad Ali, Abdul Rashid, Biniya Min, Isaaq Ahmed, Vicku Sharma, Sahil Dagoria, Suryadev Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Vireshwar Bhardwaj, Javed Khan and Daler Khan, while Ravinder Kumar and Jai Bharat will accompany with the team as coach and team manager respectively.
Dushyant Sharma, former international wrestler in his message gave their best wishes to all team members and stated that day is not so far when J&K Players will bring laurels by winning medals in National and International level championships.
