POONCH, Nov 20: Poonch Hockey Premier League, organised by 93 Infantry Brigade, concluded here, wherein Brigadier Commander, Punit Doval and DDC Chairman, Tazeem Akhter were the guests of honour.
Speaking at the event, Brigadier Commander appreciated the sportsman spirit of the teams and wished them success. He added that the Army is always ready to support the talent of all forms to display at national level.
He further said that this year the Army is organising a series of programs in which numerous students and players participated and displayed their talent.
DDC Chairman, Tazeem Akhter and other prominent personalities also appreciated the efforts of the players. These type of events have given equal opportunity to the girls and hence contributed to the Prime Minister’s dream of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ Mission, they added.
In the event, the trained dog squad and horses displayed their skills.
