JAMMU, July 24: Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the last over one year.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Satwari Police Station led by SHO Hassan Kamaal conducted raid and arrested the absconder, who has been identified as Deepak Sharma, son of Inder Lal Sharma of Bhour Camp.
The accused was wanted in a case registered with Satwari Police Station under FIR number 141/2012 under Section 363 and 376 RPC, he added.
He was produced in the Court and sent to District Jail Jammu, he informed.
