JAMMU, Nov 24: Jammu and Kashmir Olympic Association (JKOA) is going to organise Sardar Rangil Singh Award for Sports Excellence in the month of December.
It was decided in a general body meeting of the Association which was chaired by Prof (Dr) Ashutosh Sharma, president wherein 23 representatives affiliated with J&K Sports Association participated.
At the very outset the president welcomed the members and apprize them about the day to day activities of the Association and organizing Award ceremony function of S. Rangil Singh Award for Sports Excellence 2019-20 to be held in the month of December for which Advisor Youth Services and Sports has agreed to grace the occasion as chief guest.
The honorary general secretary Dushyant Sharma briefed the members about the working of the Association and conduct of National Games, the committee will be constituted for Goa and Kerala for National Games.
Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, vice-president JKOA also shared his views for the promotion and development of Sports in UT, while vote of thanks was presented by Bhupinder Singh Tirthi, treasurer of the Association.
