Srinagar, Nov 29: In the ongoing Phase-II of Youth Football League 2021, a match was played between J&K Bank FA Srinagar and FC Ganderbal at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium here.
At the end of the match, J&K Bank FA Srinagar beat the FC Ganderbal by 2-0 in what turned out to be a nail-biting competition.
Huzaifah of J&K Bank FA scored both the goals and was declared as Man of the Match for his excellent performance. Abdul Hamid Banday who is also an advisor to the NIFF was the chief guest on the occasion.
It is to be noted here that the league is the first-of-its-kind initiative taken by NIFF for providing a platform to junior age group players. MOM award carries Rs 1500 of cash and a memento which is being sponsored by New JK Roadways.
The Youth Football League is being organised by NIFF J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council and is being sponsored by New JK Roadways, JK Stories, Colour Curve and Frisk Film Production as League broadcasters, I.Y. Impex as hydration partners and Department of Health J&K.
