Plus 2 PSC Lecturers discuss demands

REASI, Dec 5: Central body Jammu of All J&K Plus 2 PSC Lecturers’ Association organized one-day convention at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Reasi, wherein they deliberated upon the issues and demands of the community.
Manjeet Chib (president of All J&K +2 PSC Lecturers’ Association Jammu) was the chief guest and Dr Sushma Mawa (Principal GHSS Girls Reasi) was the guest of honour. The convention was attended by good number of Plus 2 lecturers drawn from different higher secondary schools of district Reasi.
Speaking on the occasion, Manjeet Chib said that the whole process of verification of degrees of all the teachers/masters and lecturers working in the department should be free and fair and completed in a time bound manner. He urged Principal Secretary Education to address the long pending demand of MACP and bring Plus 2 Principals at par with the principals working in Delhi, Haryana and KV Schools.
Chib further urged Principal Secretary to intervene and resolve the issue of pay anomaly of principals on priority. The other issues raised in the convention include annual transfer drive, considering lecturers of 2017 batch for transfers, issuance of the list of look-after principals, delegation of DDO powers to most senior lecturers, filling of vacant posts of principals, placement of lecturers, speeding up the process of regularization, implementation of Government SRO 743, elimination of notional effect while confirming I/c lecturers, creation of separate Education Administrative Service (EAS), creation of posts for different subjects especially computer application, IT etc.
