JAMMU, Dec 6: Durga Nagar Welfare Committee (DNWC) in a meeting chaired by its president, Roshan Lal Raina urged upon the Additional Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo that Medical Budget provided to the Relief Commissioner should be continued as some diseases that infect Kashmiri migrants are not covered in Ayushman Bharat card.
Speakers in the meeting also said that relief of Kashmiri migrants should be increased to Rs. 20,000 from Rs. 13,000.
They appealed to the Chief Engineer Jal Shakti Department that water supply to Durga Nagar area should be improved.
The speakers also said that JMC should properly look into the cleanliness of lanes and drains of Durga Nagar area.
Ravinder Bakshi, M.K Raina, G.L Sharma, R.L Koul, C.L Zutshi, Badrinath, Behari Lal and others were also present in the meeting.
