JAMMU, Dec 6: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Directorate of Social Welfare Department and Sangam Tru Art Production here today presented Dogri musical concert ‘Nashe Kola Bacho’.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity and guests of honour were Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, J&K Health Department and Dr. Anju Kumari Dogra of Health Department.
R.P Amla assisted the Concert in which specially prepared items like ‘Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio’, ‘Bacho Bacho Tobacoo Kola Bacho’, street plays, skits, songs and dances were presented to aware masses.
The chief guest highlighted harms of drug abuse and their illegal trade.
Awareness song ‘Savdhan Savdhan Corona Mahamari Se Bacha Lo Apne Pran’ written by Dr. M.L Dogra in which music was given by Raju Bajgal was also presented.
In welcome address Dr. M.L Dogra, BLSKS chairman, pledged to make J&K free from the menace of drug addiction.
Anju Dogra also spoke on the occasion while artists and the students of Music and Computer Institute who participated in the Concert included Rajni Gupta, K.K Joshi, Raju Bajgal, Sanjeev Sodhi, Sudesh Manhas, Kamla Devi, Bindia Okheda, Chahat Chadha, Jiya Mahajan, Bodh Raj, Ranjeet and others.
