SAMBA, July 27: A National Environment Awareness Campaign on the theme ‘Biodiversity Conservation’ was organized by Government High School Khara Madana, here today.
The campaign was sponsored by WWF and NAEL 2012-13 and approved by Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India.
The event was marked by a variety of activities including painting competition, poster making, symposium, preparation of people biodiversity register and a rally involving students, staff members and community members to spread the awareness regarding conservation of environment, forests and biodiversity.
