UDHAMPUR, July 28: An employee of Cooperative Department committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence, here today.
The deceased was identified as Ravinder Kumar (33), son of Late Kaka Ram of village Sangoor, near Shiv Palace Udhampur. He was married but had no child.
According to police, Ravinder Kumar was brought to hospital by the family members but doctors declared him as brought dead. Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.
A case in this regard has been registered by police for further investigation.
