JAMMU, Dec 12: Trikuta Club emerged winner defeating Northern Railway team by 19 runs and lifted the title trophy T-20, organized by the GRP Jammu at Railway Ground, here today.
About 33 matches were played during the 28 days tournament wherein teams from GRP Jammu, Railway and adjoining areas and Schools participated.
SSP Railways Jammu, Mohammed Arif Rishu was the chief guest of the final match who presented trophies, mementos and medals to winner, runner-up and other players who excelled during the tournament.
SSP lauded the role of the organising committee for organizing this tournament in a systematic manner. “Such types of events not only provide opportunity to police to meet and interact with the youth of the area but also provide a platform to the youth to exhibit their talent,” he said.
SSP urged the teams and organisers to continue with these kinds of activities with the same enthusiasm, so that more and more youth are attracted to it.
