JAMMU, Jan 6: A cyclist was killed in accident near Narwal Pain area of Satwari here today, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Rattan Lal, son of Tara Chand, a resident of Digiana District Jammu.
He was injured after his cycle was hit by a tanker near Narwal Pain area of Satwari and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for completing medical and legal formalities.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.07
