DODA, Jan 11: Pul Doda Police seized around 10 kilograms of poppy straw.
As per police sources, a team from Police Post Pul Doda led by Gourav Sharma under the supervision of SHO Doda Inspector Arun Sharma during routine patrolling signalled a motorcycle to stop but those travelling on it parked the vehicle at some distance and escaped from the spot.
The motorcycle with registration number JK14B-6282 was seized on the spot and on frisking 9.10 kilograms poppy straw was recovered.
A case under FIR Number 8/2022 under Section 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Doda and investigation initiated.
