KATHUA, Jan 11: Police in Kathua have traced out one lady who was reportedly missing since August 22 last year and reunited her with family members.
Police said on August 22 last year a missing report was lodged at Police Station (PS), Kathua by one of the family member of lady stating therein that Suman Devi, daughter of Romesh Chander of Govindsar tehsil and district Kathua is missing. Accordingly a missing report was lodged at PS Kathua vide GD No. 11 dated 22.08.2021 and search was started to trace her.
Police said acting on the missing report the lady was traced out vide GD No. 11 dated 10.01.2022.Thereafter she was immediately handed over to her heirs after completion of all legal formalities.
Family members have applauded the swift action and timely intervention of Kathua police.
