8 injured in road accident

RAJOURI, Jan 11: At least eight persons were injured and two of them are serious when a Tata Safari vehicle met with an accident on Rajouri- Budhal Road this afternoon.
Official sources said that mishap took place when a Tata Safari vehicle bearing registration number, JK02BG/3700 was on way to Kotranka. When it reached at Rehan near Mandirgalla, the driver, Mohd Mushtaq, resident of Jaglanoo, lost control the vehicle and it skidded into a gorge.
The locals of the area rushed to the spot and rescued the injured. They were shifted to Community Health Centre Kandi/ Kotranka. Later, two of them were referred to GMC Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance.
The injured have been identified as Anjum, wife of wife of Mushtaq from Rajal; Wajahat son of Mushtaq from Rajal in Nowshera; Rehan, son of Mohd Rameez from Sangpur; Asad, son of Mohd Shakeel from Lamberi;Najma, wife of Rameez from Sangpur; Hassan Mirza, son of Mohd Rameez from Sangpur and Adeeb, son of Mushtaq. Hailing from Rajal.
