JAMMU, Jan 28: Akhnoor Police arrested a notorious thief, who was wanted in different burglary cases registered in various police stations.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Akhnoor led by SHO Inspector Hilal Azhar under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial conducted raid and apprehended a notorious thief.
The arrested thief was identified as Mohammad Ashraf, son of Mohammad Hussain, a resident of Nirojal Thannamandi District Rajouri.
He was wanted in FIRs registered with Police Station City, Bus Stand, Bahu Fort, Akhnoor, Rajouri and Gandhi Nagar. Arrest warrant of arrest was also stands issued by JMIC Akhnoor.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
