JAMMU, Feb 3: Janipur Police arrested four persons along with Rs 14200 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on reliable information about gambling in a house in Janipur Colony, a team from Police Station Janipur led by SHO Inspector Ajaz Haider conducted raid and apprehended four gamblers along with Rs 14,200 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons were identified as Vijay Zutshi, son of Niranjan Nath Zutshi of Sector 2 Janipur Colony, Surinder, son of Madan Lal of Main stop Janipur near Peer Baba, Sunil Sodhi, son of Surinder Sodhi of Sector 2, Janipur Colony and Akhtar Hussain, son of Ghulam Mohammad of Janipur Colony.
A case under FIR Number 10/2022 Section 3/4/5 Gambling Act has been registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started.
