AKHNOOR, Feb 5: The Batwal Youth Development Committee (BYDC) today held a meeting at Piri Trai near here which was chaired by BYDC president, Tilak Raj Bassa.
The meeting urged upon the J&K Lieutenant Governor to sanction public holiday on the birth anniversary of Guru Gyagi Ji in Jammu district under the Negotiable Instrument Act as has been done in case of other saints and seers.
Speakers in the meeting further stated that the birth anniversary of Guru Gyagi Ji falls on Magh Purnima every year and it is on Wednesday, February 16 this year.
