JAMMU, Feb 7: Government today appointed Anil Koul , Director Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) as an Enquiry Officer to conduct the enquiry in the case titled Riyaz Ahmed Khan versus Chairman Governing Body JKEDI and others.
An order to this effect was issued by Industries and Commerce Department here, today. The Enquiry Officer has been asked to conclude the inquiry with necessary disciplinary action and furnish action taken report to the Administrative Department within a period of 21 days.
Sources said that Riyaz Ahmed Khan an employee in the Department of the JKEDI had proceeded on leave and gone to Saudi Arabia some years back. He had reportedly joined a University there without seeking proper permission from competent authority of the Government in J&K.
After his return, he tried to join the duty in JKEDI but was not allowed by the then authorities.
