JAMMU, Feb 11: “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” for the month of February, 2022 was conducted by EPFO Regional Office, Jammu for the stakeholders of Jammu & Kashmir today.
EPFOis servicing the entire area from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh with regard to settlement of claims, redressal of grievances, and facilitating stakeholders and so on. Considering the large number of grievances and to ensure service delivery at doorstep, various online initiatives of EPFO such as balance enquiry, filing of online claims including transfer and Covid-19 advance claims and members’ basic details were explained with hands on demonstration.
Aminder Pal, an employee of M/s. Rama Civil India Construction Pvt Ltd appeared with the grievance that he didn’t have his UAN details with him. Thoughthe matter was already taken up though a letter with the establishment on 5.2.2022, no significant breakthrough could be achieved till the applicant appeared today in Nidhi Apke Nikat. Aminder Pal had earlier worked with MC Nally Bharat Engineering Co. Ltd. and had already withdrawn his P F accumulations prior to applicability of EPF & M P Act, 1952. P F Commissioner Rizwan Uddin sought his further details on 9.02.2022 and advised him to appear in person.
His matter was simultaneously brought to notice of Chief Engineer, CPWD who have awarded work to M/s. Rama Civil India Construction Pvt Ltd in IIM, Jammu. Matter was also taken up with M/s Alhuwalia Contracts India Ltd in Chamba, H P where Aminder has worked for two months (October, 2020 to November, 2020). By virtue of his membership in above establishment he is entitled to become member in M/s. Rama Civil India Construction Pvt Ltd. Accordingly matter is being taken up CPWD, EPFO, RO, Delhi North and IIM and it would be ensured that Aminder gets his P F in aforesaid Co for February, 2021 to January, 2022. Today, Aminder Pal’s UAN (received from M/s Alhuwalia Contracts (India) Pvt Ltd)was obtained on priority and the establishment was made available to him, besides helping him in activation of UAN.
Veena Devi appeared from Kangra, H P and requested that she has been visiting this Office earlier also. Since exact date of birth of her late husband Hans Raj was not available on record, Rizwan Uddin, P F Commissioner advised to send a letter along with copy of establishment’s (M/s Shalimar Cattle Feed) records and. Accordingly pension claim, (death case) was processed on priority on 10.2.2022.
