JAMMU, Feb 13: UT level Silambam Championship was organised by Silambam Association of J&K, here today.
About 129 players from different districts, schools and clubs participated in the championship. The opening ceremony was declared by Ashok Singh Manhas, Councillor Ward 59, as the chief guest of the event, while Kaka Ram (General Secretary of J&K Silambam Association) was the guest of honour and Birinder Singh (President of the Association) was the special guest.
Technical members for the championship including Jatin, Jai Gupta, Shubham Sharma, Anuj Puri, Ankush Sharma, Vijay kumar and Bikram Jit and many other officials of the Association were present during the events.
