Divyang Red beats Blue team by 4 wkts

JAMMU, Feb 14: Splendid performance of Divyang Red team helped to beat Divyang Blue by 4 wickets and maintained lead 2-1 in the 5-Matches T-20 Series, being played at Government Higher Secondary School Akhnoor Ground, near here today.
The J&K Divyang Blue team won the toss and decided to bat first.
Batting first, Divyang Blue team scored 86 on the loss of 7 wickets in stipulated 20 overs in which Ashwani Kumar remained unbeaten at 12 runs, while Ved Prakash made 27 runs. From the bowling side, Ajeet Raj and Arun shared 2 wickets each and Deepak Chahal got 1 wicket.
In reply, Divyang Red team easily chased the set target by losing 6 wickets in the process in 15.4 overs and registered 4 wickets win. Rahul Sharma and Tarsem Dogra made 14 runs each, while Vikas Sharma scored 13 runs. From the bowling side, Tarsem Lal got 4 wickets, while Ashwani got 1 wicket.
Tarsem Lal was declared as man of the match for his splendid performance. Nikhil Jamwal and Vijay Kumar were umpires, while Dev Bhagel acted as scorer.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Five Matches T-20 Series is being organized by Divyang Cricket Control Board of India under the supervision of Sham Singh Langeh (Chairman J&K Divyang Cricket Association).
