POONCH, Feb 15: Even as the district administration Poonch is trying to aware the common masses about the `Swachh Bharat Mission’ (SBM) and insist them to use toilets but the same authorities have miserably failed to keep the public toilets clean and hygienic.
The Sulabh public toilet at Bus Stand, Poonch is live example of the indifferent attitude of the authorities towards maintaining cleanliness in public urinals and toilets.
The public toilet Poonch Bus Stand is in shambles in every respect. It is very difficult to use the facility due to its pathetic condition but the concerned authorities have failed to restore it, which mocks the very concept of the SBM.
Shopkeepers and drivers alleged that toilet complex is in dilapidated condition, due to alleged ignorance by the District Administration and Poonch Municipal authorities.
